Scholarship for International Students

This protocol was prepared based on the minutes of the Board of Trustees of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences and Health Services on October 2nd, 2016 with the goal of attracting foreign elites and promoting the international level of the university, encompassing the following sections. The articles of the protocol have been implemented since its approval by the board of trustees on October 2nd, 2016.

Conditions upon Entrance:

1. Students with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of more than 98 (total score=100) are subjected to a 100% fixed fee discount in their first academic year.

2. Students with international patent approvals are subjected to a 100% fixed tuition discount in their first academic year.

3. Students with gold, silver and bronze medals for Asian sports are subjected to 100%, 70%, and 50% fixed tuition discount in their first academic year.

4. Students with an IELTS score of seven or an equivalent TOEFL score are subjected to 100% fixed tuition discount in their first academic year.

5. Students who achieve a score of 50, 80, or 100 at the levels of BSc, MSc, and PhD and higher upon entrance based on the scoring criteria of the vice-chancellor for research and technology (appendix) are subjected to 100% fixed tuition discount in their first academic year.

Conditions during Education:

1. The first, second and third non-Iranian students in each field and semester are subjected to 100%, 70%, and 50% fixed tuition discount in the next semester. The requirements of this Paragraph include the following:

* Obtaining a minimum GPA of 18 (total score=20)

* Passing at least 15 credits in the current semester.

2. Gold, silver and bronze winners in Asian sports fields in the same academic semester are subjected to 100%, 70%, and 50% fixed tuition discount in the next academic year.

3. If the candidate is among the 2.5% top scores of the comprehensive basic science and pre-internship exams, they are subjected to a 100% fixed tuition discount in the next academic semester. 

4. Students obtaining a score of 20, 40, and 50 at levels of BSc, MSc, and PhD and higher during education based on the scoring criteria of the vice-chancellor for research and technology of the university (appendix) are subjected to 100% fixed tuition discount in the next two academic semesters.

5. Students with an IELTS score of seven or an equivalent TOEFL score are subjected to a 100% fixed tuition discount in the next two academic semesters.
