Program of cooperation with non-resident Iranian entrepreneurs and experts

 

 Introduction

 

In order to achieve the long-term goals of Iran’s science vision and use human scientific capital abroad, the program of cooperation with non-resident Iranian entrepreneurs and experts will be implemented as the “partner specialized base” in order to transfer technological ideas, experience, and knowledge into the country by the vice-chancellor for development of scientific affairs and human capital of the International Affairs & Technological Exchange Center and in cooperation with universities, research centers, science and technology parks, technology corporations and selected growth and innovation centers of the country. The primary objective of the center is to establish effective communication between experts and selected scientific and technological centers of the country by supporting research and technology projects such as post-doctoral, sabbatical leaves, visiting and adjunct professors, start technological businesses, work in technological companies, specialized conscription and holding specialized workshops and lectures. 

According to the agreement signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology and Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences on May 12th, 2018, the university will be paid two billion Rials in two installments to support non-resident Iranian experts. The mentioned amount of money is provided to pay for travel and accommodation costs and fees. The process and responsibilities of various sectors and individuals include: 

- Introducer or host of the professor, who is invited over an official letter by the university, should announce these items to the international affairs management at least two months before the travel of the visiting professor to Iran in order to make the necessary arrangements. 

- The educational and research programs of the visiting professor in the university and a re-training program 

- The date of the visiting professor’s travel to Iran and the duration of his stay at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences 

- Date and time of flights (foreign and domestic)

- The introducer or host of the re-training program should make the necessary arrangements with the Medical Education Development Center regarding a seminar or workshop that will be held by the visiting professor. 

- The international affairs management will send the educational and research programs of the visiting professor to the university educational council for approval. 

- After approving the programs of the visiting professor by the educational council of the university, the international affairs manager will provide funds for travel, accommodation, and the fee of the visiting professor using the budget allocated by the International Affairs & Technological Exchange Center.

- The international affairs management should make the necessary arrangements with the security of the university one month before the arrival of the visiting professor. 

- The introducer or host will send the performance report of the visiting professor to the international affairs management to deliver it to the International Affairs & Technological Exchange Center.

Note 1. In case of a lack of retraining program in the educational programs presented by the visiting professor, the costs of travel tickets and accommodation will not be paid by the international affairs management.
