Injectable Polio Vaccine (IPV)
This vaccine is also based on inactivated virus and is administered at 4
and 6 months of age in a dose of 0.5 milliliters, either subcutaneously
or intramuscularly,
to prevent poliomyelitis. It is currently being
safely administered at health centers.
