In preparation for the 2026 academic year, a meeting of the International Student Admissions Committee was held on Saturday, August 23, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Office of the University Chancellor to determine admission capacities and ensure the provision of appropriate educational and welfare services for newly admitted international students.
The meeting was attended by the University Chancellor, the Vice Chancellors for Educational Affairs and Cultural and Student Affairs, the Head of International Affairs, the Deans of the Schools, and the Director of Security.
The meeting addressed a range of key issues concerning the admission and support of international students. Discussions focused on determining admission capacities and identifying academic programs authorized to enroll international students; reviewing the availability and delivery of educational and welfare services, including meals, the food reservation system, and student accommodation; examining tuition fees and the applicable fee calculation methodology; reviewing the student registration process; and considering the share of student recruitment agencies, as well as applicable discounts for the direct, in-person admission of newly enrolled international students for the 2026 academic year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the necessary decisions were adopted regarding the matters discussed, and the relevant arrangements and procedures for the admission of international students were finalized.
